The latest 70mm fully sculptured system called REHAU Edge has been designed to help you to break into lucrative new markets. The latest introduction to the 70mm range this fully sculptured system is designed to give REHAU fabricators and installers an extra edge in the market through it’s appeal to the more style-conscious homeowner and specifier. It is the ideal system with which to target the replacement of the replacement market. The range of profiles allows the manufacture of internally beaded casement, French and tilt and turn windows, residential, French and tilt and slide patio doors.

Easy glazing
REHAU’s single leg glazing beads and retention detail, has been proven to ensure that on-site glazing is easy and secure when fitted.

Improved drainage path
An improved drainage path is designed allowing water to drain more efficiently, for a higher performance.

Ancillary profiles
The REHAU 70mm systems is enhanced by a large range of ancillary profile including sills, angled head drips, square baypoles and couplers frame extensions, ensures easier fitting in all applications.

Surface finish

Three chamber profile
All REHAU 70mm profiles have three chambers for improved thermal efficiency.

Hardware fixed into steel
If required, the REHAU 70mm profiles can be fixed into the steel reinforcement on both sash and frame. This does not only allow for an improved technical performance but also a superior level of security.

Positive friction-stay location
To reduce the strain on screws and hinges, positive friction-stay location is added for improved performance.

Larger reinforcement chamber
To allow additional strength/rigidity when necessary, a larger reinforcement chamber enables a range of galvanised steels to be inserted for optimum performance.

Low threshold
REHAU Edge doors also offer low threshold specifically, for wheelchair access, complying with Building Regulations.

Fully assessed
The S706 70mm system is fully assessed by BSI and BBA and has achieved BS7950 and PAS23/24. The REHAU Edge fully sculptured system is incorporated into the licences for the 70mm system.
